The Haven Foundation supports hospice patients and their loved ones in countless ways. Thanks to the generous support of the Foundation, Haven can offer special programs.

Programs Include:

» Grief support services for adults and children and Camp Safe Haven, a free day camp for children and teens who have experienced a loss in their life
» Our Dementia Care Program, a specialty program that is purposefully designed to provide care for hospice patients living with cognitive disorders and to support their caregivers
» Special recognition services for veterans, first responders and their families
» Workshops on advance care planning and healthcare decision making

You may be able to make a gift to Haven Foundation, Inc. and take advantage of tax savings with a “Qualified Charitable Distribution” ( QCD) or “IRA charitable rollover” from your Individual Retirement Account (IRA).

Under Section 408(d) of the Internal Revenue Code, Americans over the age of 70 ½ may distribute an amount, not to exceed $111,000 in a calendar year as of 2026, from an IRA to Haven Foundation, Inc. or other public charities, tax-free.
